These are
surely exciting days as we come together to pray, to plan,
and to prepare for God’s will to be done at Mary Esther. God
has been good to us from the inception of Mary Esther
Baptist Church. He has added people, facilities and monthly
support sufficient enough for us to minister in the United
States and foreign lands.
Our
sufficiency has always been in our Lord. As Philippians 4:19
says, “But my God shall supply all your need according to
his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.” Jeremiah 32:27 tell
us, “Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh; is there
anything too hard for me?” It is exciting to seek the mind
of God and draw from His resources.
We have an
excellent opportunity to do something lasting for our Lord,
a project that will magnify our Lord long after we are gone.
Our investment is not only for today, it reaches out to the
next generation. Those who came before us provided us
with adequate facilities. We have enjoyed the fruits of
their labor for a long time. We have reached the time for us
to build upon the foundation.
After much
prayer and deliberation, we find ourselves in the position
that we need to add to our present facilities. We must be
diligent in our determination to reach the ever expanding
communities around us with the message of Christ and the
facilities sufficient to accommodate the increasing
population.
May our
Lord give us the wisdom to wholeheartedly and
enthusiastically support our Build the Vision campaign.
Remember, it isn’t equal gifts but equal sacrifice that will
ensure our success.
